As the “longest pedestrian bridge in the world”, this almost 1,000 foot span connects United Wholesale Mortgage facilities on either side of South Boulevard. Complete closure of South Boulevard for one weekend enabled setting the truss over the road. With the cooperation of the weather and the diligent work of all involved, the truss was set with precision. The bridge features movable walkways in a climate controlled environment, allowing UWM employees to travel between buildings safely and comfortably.
