The off-season is prime time for renovations at Ford Field. The Alan Group was selected as one of the general contractors on this project. Areas that received a facelift were the seventh floor Command Center, fifth floor Security Office, Lions Offices, elevator lobbies and several of the Levy facilities to include Slows To Go, The Cooler, Blue Moon Bar, and the Gate D Activation and Turf Tavern. All work needed to be completed prior to the first preseason game. Crunch time was on with some last-minute renovation decisions. But owners and subcontractors worked together, and the stadium opened with a fresh, new look for the season.
