The Alan Group was formed over a quarter century ago with the core belief that design and construction should work together seamlessly to offer clients a well-rounded approach. We’re a progressive design and construction company supported by state-of-the-art technologies grounded by your goals and objectives.
With a desire to build amazing things, Brad obtained his contractor’s license right out of high school at 18 years old. Even at this young age, he knew there was a better way to do construction and he set out to make it happen.
After a few years in the field, Brad noticed the way construction projects were managed wasn’t up to his high standards. He decided to start The Alan Group because he knew there was a better way to build cool things.
With an ambitious start, The Alan Group continued to successfully take on big projects. As Brad’s vision continued to grow, community partners started to notice. The Alan Group team exceeded 10 employees and was able to take on even more complex projects.
Despite a challenging economic downturn, The Alan Group thrived. People continued to notice our management techniques and the way we do business were unique. We even took on the student housing project in Dearborn, Michigan – our largest project to date.
Due to our continued and rapid growth, we moved into a new office in Troy, Michigan. This facility gave us more room to house the ever expanding team and continue taking on more clients and bigger projects.
We set a record by building the “longest enclosed pedestrian bridge in the world” – spanning almost 1,000 feet – over 3 football fields! This bridge connected United Wholesale Mortgage facilities on either side of South Boulevard.
Because of our continued growth, we leased a 20,000 square foot warehouse across the street to expand our current offices in Troy, Michigan. This allowed us to continue to grow our team and better support our customers and our growing team in the field.
At The Alan Group, the projects we work on are more than another job, they’re part of our legacy. We’re driven to fix the problems within the construction industry and our process does just that. Ready to learn more?
